Our little fashion model turns 29 today. He loved wearing his shorts
hiked up for some reason. The second picture he is modeling a nice shag hairdo like his dog Chipper. Have a great birthday Eric and enjoy the nice weekend.

This may be a little dark but Sara, Chuck and I went to Ledges State Park last Saturday to do some hiking. It was a beautiful day and the wind didn't hit us so hard down in the valley where we were hiking. Chuck took us on a path of steps and we got to the top and turned a new way, oh yes, new it was, we ended up running out of our path and had to find our own way down out of the hills. Sara screamed when a squirrel ran out from under some brush right beside her, and I jumped also. I was of course watching for snakes, we did make it down the hill before it got too dark, as you can tell in this picture.

Chuck has his rain suit on to go get the mail. He is holding the paper under his jacket to keep it from getting soaked. We have had 4 inches of rain since Sunday. I still don't have anything planted in the garden. But we did need some rain.

We went out to eat for my birthday last weekend. Of course Tate and family and Sara came along also. We had a great time as you can tell by the picture. Tate had some cheerios for a snack and ate all of the colored ones and didn't want the plain ones. Picky eater like his dad I suppose. :)

We are headed for an egg. Notice the hat over his stocking cap, it is a ladybug hat. They were so cute. All the hunters had different kinds of hats, puppies, frogs, etc.

We thought we saw an egg but it was just a rock, he was really getting the hunt thing down and got a basket full of eggs

Grandma helped Tate get an egg that was a little too high for him to reach. But he would not let go of his basket to get the egg easier.

Kailee read to Tate and Jaden (Jensen) on Easter Sunday. Why a book like that I don't know, they will have some dreams tonight

Tate and Daddy really looked alike with the bunny ears. I think Daddy enjoyed them more, Tate wanted them off as soon as possible.

Tate enjoyed the egg hunting with mom and dad, but really enjoyed the treats afterwards.

Tate enjoyed playing Barbie with his cousins on Easter. Daddy rolled his eyes when he saw them playing.

We went to see Tate and his new companion on Saturday. He loves his kitty, probably a little too much. He likes to boy handle him and the kitty is not fond of the handling all of the time. Max puts up with a lot of squeezing. We started for a walk when it was nice and sunny out and we got about 5 blocks and a clap of thunder hit and down came the rain. We hide under someones carport while Eric and Epoch ran to get the van. Tate heard the noise and saw the lightening and said oh, oh. We didn't get too wet and then enjoyed the rest of the day inside.
