Tessa and Tate did a little dancing on the patio while they stayed at our house over the July 4th weekend. I put down the cushioned number pads that Tate got for Christmas and they had a great time outside on them

This is Tessa (in the pink blanket) with her godparents, Joe and Sarah, and their son Eli, which is a month younger than Tessa. Tate and Sara are in the background playing.

My pictures of the baptism did not turn out, we were too far away and the lighting is not good in the church, so they were all blurry. Hope Eric was able to get a good one of Tessa in her pretty dress. So here is great grandma and Tessa.

Chuck took a picture of a friend and I as we are goofing around in the kitchen waiting for the people to show up for the wedding reception.

I tried taking a picture of us as we are getting ready to leave for a wedding. My arm was not long enough to get much of us in, but then this is probably enough. :)

The canopy is coming together. Dan is on the left, Ken is in front, Matt is just behind Ken and Chuck is working on the right back corner with someone holding it up for him. The wedding party stood under this canopy.

A rarity, guys reading the instructions. Chuck is reading what Matt is to do next. It did get together but there were about 6 of them working on it.

Sara took a picture of me walking the beach one morning from the hotel room. Chuck is out running but I had not found him yet.

The top picture is us just getting done eating a pizza after we got to the resort. This is the back side of the place we stayed and they have a little bar just behind that wall in the background. We are facing the sunset over the beach.

The bottom picture is of the heated pool which is next to the bar and the beach is in the background.

Matt sat between Sara and I so he was kept very busy, with laughter and pictures. I think he had a great time.

Trying to keep Matt on the dance floor was a major chore, but we did a good job.

This crane walked right up behind me as I was taking pictures on the beach. Someone said turn around and I took his picture. Then he walked over behind Sara to check her out. That is our resort in the background and our room is just behind the third tree from the right. (the second set of patios from the bottom)

I know the pictures are not in order, but I just picked as I went along looking at them. This was our first night in Florida and we had to go check out the beach. As you can tell by my face, the water was shockingly cold at first, but didn't take long to get used to and then we were out playing in the waves. (remember if you can't see it well just click on the picture to make it bigger.)

Chuck did some jogging on the beach in the evenings. Each day the high was in the 80's and very enjoyable.

We went to Florida between Christmas and the new year for a beach wedding. This was the sunset the first night at our resort.

Two pictures of my mom's "90th" birthday party cake. We held an open house for her and she was very surprised. This cake was to serve 150 people. Can you guess that she is a big casino fan?

Tate was not sure if he wanted to be licked by a buffalo, but he sure loved saying that word. Also, he decided he would hang his hat on the horse's ear and then get his picture taken

Tate had a great time in downtown Omaha yesterday. He went and rode a goose while waiting to see daddy run at different times. He enjoyed his day very much.

If you click on the picture and enlarge it, you can see how excited Tate was to watch his daddy race. Eric just went past them and Tate held out his hand and daddy gave it a slap.

The first picture is Eric the night before his 26 miles, and the next one is 15 minutes into his big race (he is the one waving). He did an awesome job, way to go for a dream !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
