I HAVE BEEN BUSY ALL WEEK.  HAVE HAD 3 VOLLEYBALL NIGHTS, A CHURCH NIGHT, AND A WORK NIGHT (ON FRIDAY).  WE DID GET SOME SNOW BUT HAD TO BE OUTSIDE TO KNOW IT HAPPENED.  ERIC, THAT IS A NEAT SLIDE SHOW, I MAY ATTEMPT THAT SOMETIME.  GIVE ME A YEAR OR TWO TO GET IT MASTERED :)  I ALSO LIKE THE FLASHING SIGN AND ALL THE INFO ON MY GRANDSON, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.  THANKS TO ALL WHO ANSWERED MY STORYBOOK EMAIL AND EVEN THOSE WHO HAD SOME NASTY REMARKS AS WELL.  HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND EVERYONE AND ENJOY THE NICE WEEKEND.  LOVE, kim

WOW, what a difference a day makes in Iowa !!!! I was outside working in shorts on Tuesday and Wednesday I had jeans and a jacket. Our volleyball girls lost to Treynor last night in three, but we had very close games. They are at the top in our conference ( we are second) and we have tournaments next week. We will see what happens. How am I doing Eric? I have not mastered (or have tried) the email going to my blog yet.

Not much to say, but yes Eric, the weather is GREAT !!!! We have been doing some outside work on our yard. Finishing some cylinder wall work, cleaning out the pond, and replanting grass. The farmers around us are all very busy, and the grapevines across the road at the winery are looking very good. We sat on our patio last night with a fire in the pit and just enjoyed the scenery. Guess we just "STOPPED AND SMELLED THE ROSES" as they say. It was very nice.

This is a picture of Chuck and Eric at the Key Hole on Longs Peak in Colorado. These are the solar potties they had to use and for some reason they HAD to get a picture. They had a great time climbing with Chuck's brother Ken also. Oh, and by the way, Ken is retired from UPS as of 9/29/06. He has a party the second week in October and I don't know what his plans are from there. We wish him luck.
